RBPJ and myocardial infarction: Hematoxylin–eosin staining and immunohistochemistry staining were adopted to observe the inflammatory response in mouse hearts, such that the results of HE staining illustrated the presence of less inflammatory cells in the sh-RBP-J group than those in the MI group and sh-NC group, suggestive of a marked improvement in inflammatory levels and myocardial necrosis (Figure 3A).
