Consequently, the aim of this study is to assess the effect of PEG-AgNPs, in a mouse model of angiotensin (ANG) II-induced hypertension, on thrombotic events, coagulation profile, and oxidative stress by measuring thrombotic occlusion time in pial arterioles and venules, prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), fibrinogen, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), von Willebrand factor (vWF), superoxide dismutase, and total nitric oxide. This evidence concerns the gene SERPINE1 and hypertensive disorder.
