Since the calculated hazard ratio (HR) for each of these eight genes was greater than 1, they were judged as being high-risk genes that may be negatively associated with the survival of AML patients, and six of them (CHAC1, DPP4, GPX4, AIFM2, PGD, and ACSF2) were identified as independent prognostic genes with p < 0.05. Here, GPX4 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
