Interestingly, three compounds, 5, 7, and 9, were predicted to bind to the 5′GAG/3′CCC internal loop present in the Drosha processing site of pri-miR-27a, albeit with different affinities based on their Zobs scores; miR-27a is an oncogenic miRNA with established roles in breast and prostate cancers (34, –36). This evidence concerns the gene DROSHA and prostate cancer.
