In this study, NEK2 was overexpressed in NSCLC, and it was significantly correlated with tumor stage, nodal metastasis status, and poor prognosis; this finding is consistent with the conclusions of the abovementioned study, indicating that NEK2 is more likely to be used as a prognostic marker of NSCLC, but further research is needed. This evidence concerns the gene NEK2 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
