While a high level of MET amplification is recognized by the NCCN guidelines to influence treatment decisions for NSCLC, MET inhibitors like capmatinib, tepotinib, and savolitinib have come into our sight, the development of acquired resistance to these new agents remain a problem, hence more clinical trials are needed to confirm the efficacy of MET inhibitors or other combined treatments [22–24].
