The results of KEYNOTE-042 trial comparing the effectiveness of ICI and standard chemotherapy in patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and PD-L1 tumor proliferation score (TPS) >50% showed that relapse-free survival was better in a group of ICI therapy−20 months vs. 12.2 months in the standard chemotherapy group (2). This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
