Makarov et al. (2013) reported the co-localization of both EphA2 ligand (in this case, ephrin-A1) and integrin α3 at the cell membrane, and in particular, co-localization of EphA2 with integrin α3 at the protrusions and focal adhesion sites of U25MG1 glioblastoma cells to promote migration. Here, EPHA2 is linked to glioblastoma.
