The anti-tumour properties of these LAs were partially attributed to the upregulation of miR-187-5p, which inhibited MYB signalling by directly binding to MYB. Screening for the possible targets of miR-187-5p using a dual-luciferase reporter assay revealed that the DANCR lncRNA directly targets miR-187-5p, suggesting that DANCR could act as a miR-187-5p sponge. Here, MYB is linked to neoplasm.
