We found that some TGs (TG54:2, TG52:2, TG52:1, TG51:0, TG50:3, TG50:1) that which were increased by obesity in human plasma and by dysferlin-deficiency in mice skeletal muscle were decreased in iWAT, backfat or skeletal muscle from UCP1 KI pigs, suggesting that the increase of TGs by obesity or dysferlinopathy might be reversed by UCP1 ectopic expression (Figure 6C). Here, DYSF is linked to neuromuscular disease caused by qualitative or quantitative defects of dysferlin.
