Our reanalysis of the GSE9820/GPL6255/GDS3690 dataset (n = 153), which originally analyzed various circulating mononuclear cells from patients with severe CAD, revealed that the expression of α7-nAChR, CD163, CD206, and CD80 was the highest in macrophages, compared to the CD14+ resting monocytes, CD34+ stem cells, LPS-stimulated monocytes, or CD4+ T helper cells (Figures 3(a) and 3(b)). The gene discussed is CHRNA7; the disease is coronary artery disorder.
