Recently, it has been shown that IL-33 is involved in the pathogenesis of several inflammatory diseases, including allergic diseases (Liew et al., 2016; Gupta et al., 2017), infectious diseases (Donovan et al., 2016; Xu et al., 2017), and neuropathic pain (Fattori et al., 2017). Here, IL33 is linked to allergic disease.
