Shin et al. revealed that the AKT inhibitor LY294002 blocked the expressions of p-AKT and c-Myc in HepG2 cells and found that the compound K induced apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma cells via inhibition of AKT/mTOR/c-Myc signaling (Shin et al., 2021).
