Using our model of cisplatin-induced cognitive deficits and peripheral neuropathy we tested the capacity of the novel, highly selective A3AR agonist MRS5980 to prevent and/or reverse cisplatin-induced cognitive impairment, sensorimotor deficits, the associated reduction in synaptic integrity and mitochondrial abnormalities in the brain. The gene discussed is ADORA3; the disease is Cognitive impairment.
