It has been observed that the expression of SALL4 is silenced in entirely differentiated cells while its expression is reactivated in various types of cancer such as central nervous system tumor [18], lung cancer [19], colorectal cancer (CRC) [20], liver cancer [21], leukemia [22], endometrial cancer [23], breast cancer (BC) [24], glioma [25], and gastric cancer [26]. This evidence concerns the gene SALL4 and glioma.
