NPPB and hydrops fetalis: After adjusting for confounding variables, the excess risk of the BNP worsening group relative to the marked BNP improvement group remained significant for the primary outcome measure (HR: 3.43, 95%CI: 1.51–8.46, P = 0.003) and for hospitalization for HF (HR: 5.35, 95%CI: 1.83–19.7, P = 0.0001), whereas the adjusted risk of the BNP worsening group relative to the marked BNP improvement group was no longer significant for all-cause death (HR: 1.81, 95%CI: 0.49–7.30 P = 0.38) (Table 3).
