Mechanistically, it has been reported that circMYO9B sponges miR-4316 and enhances FOXP4 levels thereby promoting breast cancer progression and highlighting the key role of circMYO9B/miR-4316/FOXP4 axis in breast cancer (Wang et al., 2018a; Zhang and Zhang et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene FOXP4 and breast carcinoma.
