ALK and non-small cell lung carcinoma: In NSCLC patients with ALK rearrangement who were treated with prior crizotinib, several second-generation ALK TKIs showed encouraging efficacy, with ORRs of 44–56%, and median PFS of 6.9–13.2 months.20,22,24,25 In the dose expansion of this study, the confirmed ORR of 45.7% and median PFS of 6.9 months with WX-0593 for ALK-rearranged patients treated with crizotinib as the only ALK TKI were comparable to that of other ALK inhibitors, indicating the meaningful clinical activity of WX-0593 in the post-crizotinib setting.
