Other gastrointestinal disorders, such as nausea and vomiting, mostly grade 1–2, were less frequently observed in this study than that reported with crizotinib.6 Similar to lorlatinib but distinct to other ALK TKIs, hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia were also commonly seen with WX-0593, but the incidence of both were lower compared with those reported for lorlatinib.21 It remains unclear by which mechanism WX-0593 led to dysregulation of lipid metabolism. Here, ALK is linked to familial hypercholesterolemia.
