When comparing our SARS-CoV-2 data sets in HEK293T-hACE2 cells to published data sets in other human cell lines, there were 21 genes in common with other studies (FDR < 0.25; ACE2, ALG5, ARVCF, CCZ1B, CTSL, DNM2, EPT1, GDI2, LUC7L2, RAB7A, RNH1, SCAF4, SLC30A1, SLC33A1, SNX27, TMEM41B, TMEM251, VAC14, VPS35, WDR81, and WDR91) which highlight key functional pathways required for viral infection, including endocytosis, glycosylation, and exocytosis. This evidence concerns the gene RAB7A and viral infectious disease.
