When evaluating potential combinations of 2 tests in the detection of PJI, we found that the overall combined sensitivity and specificity for ESR + CRP was 76.9% and 87.8%, respectively, 59% and 92.7% for CRP + D-dimer, and 61.5% and 88.3% for ESR + D-dimer.
