Out of the 44 factors assessed in this panel, Ccl5, Cxcl10, and Il6 were the most significantly increased in the Brca1-deficient cells (Fig. 3B) and this correlated with increased mRNA expression in several MPB1 cell lines (SI Appendix, Fig. S3F) and in an isogenic setting in which Brca1 was disrupted in MP tumor cells following in vitro establishment (SI Appendix, Fig. S3G). The gene discussed is CXCL10; the disease is neoplasm.
