The functional analysis using the DAVID (Database for Annotation, Visualization, and Integrated Discovery) revealed that 47 AD-abundant autoantibodies were annotated to antigen proteins enriched in non-membrane-bound organelles and the cytoskeleton in the GO cellular component as well as the ErbB signaling pathway in the KEGG pathway (Supplementary Tables 3 and 4). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and Alzheimer disease.
