Post-hoc comparisons showed that GFAP was higher in MCI+AD when compared with controls (F=−5.78, p=1.91e−7) and higher in LBD when compared with controls (F=−4.417, p=1.43e−4), while MCI+AD participants also had higher GFAP when compared with PSP (F=3.19, p=1.57e−2) (see figure 1D). Here, GFAP is linked to Alzheimer disease.
