In this study, after inhibition of the MAPK pathway by selumetinib (MEK1/2 inhibitor) and stabilization of p53 pathway by KRT-232 (MDM2 inhibitor), we observed significantly increased growth inhibitory activity both in vitro and in vivo in CRC and PTC with MAPK alterations and TP53 WT. Here, MAP2K1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
