Based on the above results, we speculate that the general status of TKIs research is as follows: (1) NSCLC and CML are the most important clinical application areas for TKIs; (2) EGFR is the most common target gene for TKIs, and EGFR-TKIs are the most commonly used molecularly targeted TKIs, among which erlotinib, osimertinib, and gefitinib have gradually matured; (3) TKIs have become a mature field for targeted therapeutic applications, and drugs targeting HER2 and ALK have further expanded the application of TKIs; and (4) drug resistance remains a major challenge for TKIs. Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
