Wang et al. [23] found that LIFR-AS1 acts as a sponge for miR-942-5p, thereby inhibiting the miR-942-5p-mediated repression of ZNF471 and, consequently, also the invasive and metastatic potential of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. Here, LIFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
