PICALM and myeloid leukemia: The t(10;11)(p13;q14-21) chromosomal translocation results in the fusion of CALM (encoding the gene for the clathrin assembly lymphoid myeloid protein, also known as phosphatidylinositol-CALM (PICALM)) to MLLT10 (also known as AF10) and is a recurrent genetic abnormality in acute lymphoid and myeloid leukemia.
