In summary, the abovementioned research results show that the administration of DHZCPs regulates the immune function of NAFLD patients by keeping Th17/Treg balance and affecting the levels of inflammatory cytokines, IL-17, IL-10, hs-CRP, and TNF-α, and adipocytokines, leptin, adiponectin, and ghrelin. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
