To clarify the potential mechanism that FRGs signature acts as an independent risk factor for the prognosis of CRC, single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) was performed and suggested that JAK-STAT signaling, Ras signaling pathway, MAPK signaling pathway, and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway were significantly enriched in CRC patients with higher FRGs risk score. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and colorectal carcinoma.
