In this study, similar to the findings of Noh et al,[8] we found that a high density of PD-L1 expression correlated with hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) patients and early tumor stage; however, the significance of PD-L1 expression in MMR-proficient and MMR-deficient patients is currently unclear. The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer.
