Sensitivity, specificity, AUC, and the optimal cut-off of ALT for diagnosing NAFLD were 75%, 89.06%, 0.873, and 20 U/l, while those of PTX-3 were 65.62%, 71.87%, 0.731, and 1.89 ng/ml, and those of the TyG index were 81.25%, 60.94%, 0.765, and 8.16. Here, PTX3 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
