Taken together, our study has identified a panel of six novel non-protein coding genes (miRNAs, pseudogenes and long intergenic/non-coding RNAs) of which RP11-713P17.4, NUS1P3, MIR3193, MTND6P4 and CTD-2023M8.1 have been reported for the first time as epigenetically dysregulated genes in cancer and in metastases. This evidence concerns the gene NUS1P3 and cancer.
