ZFP36 and cancer: The genes selected for analysis are involved in a variety of pathways including lipid biosynthesis (DGATs), glucose transport (GLUTs), anti-inflammation (TTP family), pro-inflammation (TNF, COX, CSF, HUA, ILs, VEGFs), cancer development (BCL2, BNIP3, CYP19A1, FAS, HUA, P53, PPARR and TNFSF10), and TTP-mediated mRNA stability (AHRR1, BCL2L1, CsnK2A1, CXCL1, E2F1, ELK1, HIF1a, HMOX1, ICAM1 and ZFAND5) (Table 1).
