The subgroup with BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2 was associated with younger age, higher prevalence in men and of DCM, a lower proportion of ADHF admission history, lower B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP)/N-terminal proBNP, and higher Hb level and eGFR (data not shown). The gene discussed is NPPB; the disease is familial dilated cardiomyopathy.
