In the study by Leav et al. [108], TRAP1 has been shown to be highly expressed in prostate cancer (in human high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia, Gleason grades 3–5 prostatic adenocarcinomas and metastatic prostate cancer), but undetectable in healthy prostate or benign prostate hyperplasia. The gene discussed is TRAP1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
