On subgroup analysis, based on the clinical severity of the ovarian cancer patients, i.e., FIGO Stage and TNM grade, it was observed that in early stage ovarian cancer patients (with FIGO stage I and II) the serum levels of lysyl oxidase (LOX) were found to be 3.28 + 0.66 ng/mL, and with TNM grade I and II the measured LOX level was 3.42 ± 0.78 ng/mL. This evidence concerns the gene LOX and ovarian carcinoma.
