We initially conducted RT-qPCR and immunoblot analysis and found that PELP1 expression level was higher in the CRC cell lines than in the immortalized colonic epithelium (Figure S2A).To validate the effect of PELP1 on angiogenesis in vitro, we choose two cell lines HCT116 and HT29 with moderate levels of PELP1 to examine the effect of PELP1 on the angiogenesis makers (Figure S2B). This evidence concerns the gene PELP1 and colorectal carcinoma.
