Hypermethylation of SLIT2 and SLIT3 occurred in 29 (69.0%) and 23 (54.8%) of 42 NSCLCs, respectively, consistent with previous findings reporting that the frequency of SLIT3 methylation in lung cancer was less than that of SLIT2 (20, 22). This evidence concerns the gene SLIT2 and lung carcinoma.
