We compared the synergy of Selenium and Gemcitabine in pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell lines, namely, BxPC-3, PANC-1, and MIA PaCa-2, and examined the outcome measures for proliferation and apoptosis as well as equilibrative nucleoside transporter 1 (ENT1) protein for evaluating the facilitation of Gemcitabine uptake by the cancer cells. Here, SLC29A1 is linked to pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
