CD69 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: Interestingly, NAFLD patients with significant liver fibrosis (F ≥ 2) had increased the percentage of CD69+iNKT cells (26.9 ± 6.6) with respect to those without significant liver fibrosis (F ≤ 1) (6.1 ± 2.5, p = 0.040) and healthy control (10.1 ± 1.9, p = 0.031) (Figure 2).
