Regarding the depressive-like behaviors associated with PTX-induced neuropathic pain, both the CoPP and GYY4137 treatments normalized the increase in the immobility time in the TST and FST observed in PTX-injected mice, showing the anxiolytic and antidepressant effects induced by the activation of HO-1 and H2S during PTX-induced neuropathic pain. This evidence concerns the gene HMOX1 and neuropathic pain.
