Su et al. [67] investigated the anti-cancer effects of polysaccharides of Sipunculus nudus using HepG2 cells-bearing mice model and demonstrated that administration of polysaccharides at 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg for 1 month significantly inhibited the growth of HepG2 cells through increasing the expression of ATF4, DDIT3 and IkBα and down-regulation of CYR61, HSP90 and VEGF expression. This evidence concerns the gene NFKBIA and cancer.
