The CCL13 (also called Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein 4- MCP4) is involved in the inflammatory process of several diseases [94] and its levels are increased in the gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) of patients with periodontitis [95] whereas CXCL11 is related with Th1 cell accumulation in inflamed mucosa [96].
