KRT12 and cancer: First, we showed using PhosphoSitePlus that 1) 76% of the L-CK1.2 substrates are considered as prognosis markers for various cancer types (Supplementary Table S1), 2) 89% of L-CK1.2 phosphosites are phosphorylated in cancer cells (Table 1; Supplementary Table S1 and Figure 4, round shape), and 3) 10% of L-CK1.2 phosphosites are mutated during tumorigenesis (Table 1; Supplementary Table S1 and Figure 4, red border).
