HMCN2 and breast carcinoma: Consistent with the above findings, these four key genes (MLIP, HMCN2, LRRN4CL, and DUOX2) were critically upregulated in the cancerous tissue than in the normal tissue (t-test; p < 0.05; Figure 5A–E), further highlighting their protumor effects in breast cancer and their potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment.
