In the current study, it was predicted that miR-24-3p may bind to circ-ITPR3 and then affect the downstream target gene NFKBIA. miR-24-3p expression was found to be significantly downregulated in diabetes, and the expression level of miR-24-3p was significantly correlated with serum insulin and HbA1c levels (46). The gene discussed is INS; the disease is diabetes mellitus.
