TNNI3 and coronary artery disorder: We hypothesized that (1) the utilization of a single hs-cTn measurement would enable rule-out of obstructive CAD, (2) the higher analytical sensitivity of the hs-cTnI assay would provide superior rule-out abilities to the hs-cTnT assay, and (3) the addition of hs-cTn to an established cardiovascular risk stratification model would enable more accurate identification of individuals at risk of obstructive CAD.
