Results showed that the fractions of resting memory CD4 T cells, macrophages M0, activated natural killer cells, activated mast cells, and activated dendritic cells increased in HNSCC with high-risk scores, whereas the fractions of T follicular helper cells, resting mast cells, plasma cells, gamma delta T cells, CD8 T cells, and activated memory CD4 T cells decreased in HNSCC with low-risk scores (Fig. 5A). Here, CD8A is linked to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
