Studies have shown that NAA10 dysregulation can be pathological in humans (Aksnes et al. 2019; Wu and Lyon 2018; Kim et al. 2020), and NAA10 has been associated with several human cancers both as an oncoprotein and tumour suppressor depending on the cancer type (Kim et al. 2020; Kalvik and Arnesen 2013).
