COL6A3 and Dystonia: Recently, the role of collagen VI in the brain has been gradually revealed; for example, mutations in Col6a3 could cause early‐onset isolated dystonia, and in the hippocampus, collagen VI protects neurons against amyloid‐β toxicity.[51, 52] Therefore, these findings suggest that Col6a3 in the BLA is a downstream Dcn‐binding protein.
